Cards & Accessories from Phoenix Trading

The cards and giftware for this fundraiser are not available in shops, and exclusive to Phoenix Trading.  All cards have been designed by Artists who submit their works in the hope of being published.  Currently there are over 600 designs that have gone to print, thus keeping such artists in paid work.

Cards and accessories can be ordered direct from the catalogue via the order forms, or online at  www.phoenix-trading.com.au/web/steve, and 30% of all sales will go directly to The Kiwanis Club of East Maitland to assist in funding local and internation childrens aid programmes.

Pricing of the cards and items is below what you would normally pay at Supermarkets and Chain stores. Cards start at $3.60 each, with an incentive discount down to $3.00 each if 10 or more are purchased.

We welcome you to enjoy the very unique styles and designs of the cards, and hope you will partake in our fundraising efforts for the children.  All cards are blank on the inside for your very own message, and come with an envelope and celloglasing for added protection.

Meryl SwansonMeryl Swanson

Meryl performed the role of guest speaker – her popularity and warmth for her topic was evident when she received a warm reception from our 95 guests. Meryl talked on the love and safety of the family home and discussed how domestic violence is such a breach of that love and trust. Meryl stressed the important role that refuges such as Faith Cottage and Carries Place serve to those women in our community seeking a safe haven for themselves and their children.

Meryl Swanson sums up her show perfectly, "My program and others like it provide company and connection for a vast array of people, many without family and friends - to me it's an honour and responsibility". Listen in from midday for the latest news, information, entertainment and open line discussion on 13 12 69.

The touchstone of CanTeen is the belief that young people, through meeting and talking with one another, are better able to cope with the uncertainties of a cancer diagnosis. One of our own member families is strongly involved with CanTeen and the East Maitland Kiwanis Club has shown support by making donations and raising funds to assist CanTeen's mission to support, develop and empower young people living with cancer.
